My locksmith can be found on an island, at an intersection, in Hanoi.
My locksmith charges me 15.000 VND for a key copy. When he had to come and make keys for my doors, my locksmith charged me 230.000 VND for the commute, two pairs of keys and substantially more labor.
When he studied keys, locks and everything in-between, my locksmith paid his teacher 1.000.000 VND for each day. The course of study lasted one month, totaling 30.000.000 VND.
That is my locksmith.

wow, i never knew it was that expensive to learn the trade. Hopefully business is good for him.
Goes to show how ignorant i am. *sigh*
